From March 8th to 9th, 2026, the "2026 Environmental Protection Female Entrepreneurs (Chengdu) Training and Exchange Meeting" was held in Shuangliu, Chengdu, Sichuan. The event was hosted by the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, Sichuan Provincial Environmental Protection Industry Association, Chengdu Environmental Protection Industry Association, and China Water Environment Group Co., Ltd. Wu Zhen, the general manager of Jiangsu Sanzhong Qiming Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Yangzhou Qionghua Coating Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the meeting and gathered with female representatives from the environmental protection industry from all over the country.

The conference invited experts and scholars from relevant government departments, research institutes, universities, and enterprises to deeply interpret the development trends of the environmental protection industry through on-site lectures, experience sharing, and other forms. Together, they looked forward to the development opportunities of the environmental protection industry during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, united women's strength, and jointly promoted green and high-quality development, fully demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of female environmental entrepreneurs in the new era.

In the entrepreneurial practice sharing session, General Manager Wu Zhen, drawing from her deep entrepreneurial experience in the environmental protection field, shared with the female attendees her indissoluble bond with the environmental protection cause. As a member of the "red third generation," her grandfather Wu Qi was the first generation of air force pilots in New China, who sacrificed heroically during the Korean War. Although his family letters were devoid of grandiloquent rhetoric, they were filled with concerns for the country and family ties; influenced by this, her father, Mr. Wu Zhongzhi, devoted himself to the environmental protection industry in the 1980s, developing catalytic combustion equipment suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises. He has been committed to the environmental protection cause for over four decades and was awarded the "40 Years of Honorable Service in the Ecological and Environmental Protection Industry" medal. General Manager Wu Zhen took over the environmental protection "relay baton" from her father, embarked on a second venture, and led two enterprises to deeply explore the fields of painting and environmental protection, winning industry recognition.

As a female entrepreneur, General Manager Wu Zhen shared two proverbs about her original aspiration: one is her father's advice during the early stages of entrepreneurship, "Women should also realize their self-worth, not rely on others or follow blindly, and shine brightly in their own way"; the other is her father's warning when she was thirty, "Make good use of women's delicacy and tenacity, and leverage women's unique strengths." Carefulness, tenacity, and empathy are all natural strengths of women. If used properly, they can become competitive advantages.

She mentioned that safeguarding green mountains and clear waters has never been just a slogan, but a self-cultivation that requires perseverance and deep cultivation. For her, this cultivation represents her dedication to leading two enterprises to deeply explore the field of coating environmental protection, her commitment to researching, developing, and promoting environmental protection technologies, and fulfilling the green mission. It also signifies her responsibility and duty to inherit the family spirit, keep pace with the times, and progress together with the industry.
